What YOU Can Do About the Climate Crisis. 🌏
If you feel hopeless about climate concerns, you're not alone. 💜
The Climate Crisis is being talked about more than ever. And with good reason.
We need to be talking about this. We need to be taking action. NOW. But what can one person do?
From February through June of 2019, I dove deep with a small group in a sermon-writing seminar offered by Rev. Kevin Tarsa, the minister at our Unitarian Universalist Community of the Mountains, here in Grass Valley, California.
Being comfortable and experienced with speaking, I was curious to learn the difference between "delivering a sermon" and "giving a talk." I learned that and so much more!
Just this past Sunday, I got to deliver my sermon, "What Time Is It?"
The focus?
Sharing power with the children of our world by taking personal action immediately to lessen impact on the planet.
Some detrimental activities feel out of reach (military waste, corporate waste, oil spills, erosion of protections, etc.), and yet, there is one thing you can do right now to significantly reduce your carbon footprint by up to 73%. Really!
Watch the video and find out what it is. 😊
Even though the climate crisis can be a cause for an emotional downward spiral, my sermon was crafted with intention to be inspiring and motivating.
While it's an intense topic, my presentation is not gruesome.
My hope is that you will walk away ready to take action.
Know that I'm always here for your questions and to offer support.
I hope you enjoy, "What Time Is It." And please share this!
With love, action, and hope, (after you watch the video, that signoff will make sense 😉)
